Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how we ("we", "our", or "us") handle information in connection with our mobile applications and related services. It applies to all apps we publish now and in the future.
We build tools that respect your privacy. Our default posture is to collect as little data as possible. Many of our apps work entirely on-device and never transmit your personal data to any server.
Short version: We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. Most of our apps store everything locally on your device.
2. Our Apps & Their Data Practices
Each app in our portfolio may have a different data profile. The table below summarizes the current lineup. App-specific disclosures supplement this policy and take precedence where they conflict.
| App | Category | Data stored on-device | Data sent to servers | Account required |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GroomDesk - Pet Grooming App | Pet Grooming Management | Customer records, pet info, bookings, photos, settings | None | No |
| BP Tracker: Blood Pressure Log | Health & Fitness | BP readings, trends, notes, PDF/CSV exports | None | No |
| ParKeeper - Golf Scorecard & Handicap | Sports | Rounds, scores, courses, stats, notes, buddy names, settings | None | No |
| Future apps | โ | Varies โ see app-specific notice | Varies โ see app-specific notice | Varies |
We update this table whenever a new app launches. Check back or watch for in-app notices.
2.1 App-Specific Disclosures โ ParKeeper
Location. ParKeeper Pro can show your distance to the green. With your permission, it uses your device's location only while you are using the app. All distance calculations happen on-device. Your location is never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere. You can deny or revoke location access in iOS Settings at any time; the app works fully without it โ you just won't see distances.
Apple Health (Apple Watch). When you score a round on Apple Watch, ParKeeper can run a golf workout session: it reads your heart rate and active energy during the round and saves the workout to Apple Health. This data stays in HealthKit on your devices, under Apple's Health privacy protections. ParKeeper never uses Health data for any purpose other than the workout feature itself, and never for marketing, advertising, or disclosure to third parties. You can decline Health access; scoring works without it.
iCloud sync (optional, off by default). If you enable iCloud backup in ParKeeper's settings, your rounds sync to your personal, private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), encrypted per Apple's standards. Only your Apple Account can access it โ we cannot read it. Turn the toggle off at any time; you can remove the stored data via iOS Settings โ Apple Account โ iCloud โ Manage Storage.
Sharing. Scorecard images are shared only when you tap Share, using the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is sent anywhere automatically.
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Data You Provide
When you use our apps you may enter information such as:
- Names, contact details, and notes for people or animals you manage (e.g. clients, pets, golf buddies)
- Scheduling and appointment details
- Photos taken or imported through the app
- In-app preferences and settings
- Payment or transaction records (stored locally; we do not process payments ourselves)
This data stays on your device unless an app feature explicitly sends it elsewhere (e.g. iCloud backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy).
3.2 Data Collected Automatically
For apps with network features or analytics, we may collect:
- Crash reports and diagnostic logs (to fix bugs)
- Anonymous usage events (to understand which features are used)
- Device type, OS version, and app version (for compatibility)
We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) unless an app explicitly discloses it. We do not use fingerprinting.
3.3 Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not build advertising profiles.
- We do not access your contacts, microphone, or camera without asking first.
- We do not track your location unless an app feature requires it and you grant permission.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use collected information only to:
- Provide and improve the app features you use
- Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- Manage in-app subscriptions or purchases via Apple's StoreKit
- Respond to your support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data to serve ads, build user profiles for third-party sale, or make automated decisions that significantly affect you.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: third parties that help us operate (e.g. crash reporting, analytics). They are contractually bound to use data only for the stated purpose.
- Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfer: in a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer. We will notify you in advance and your options will not change materially.
For purely offline apps (e.g. GroomDesk, ParKeeper), there is no data to share with third parties โ everything stays on your device.
6. Data Storage & Security
Data entered into offline apps is stored in a local database in your device's sandboxed app container, accessible only to the app itself. Photos and exports are stored in the app's Documents directory.
For apps with server-side components, we use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.
No method of storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to protect your device with a passcode and to use iOS's built-in backup and encryption features.
7. Retention & Deletion
For offline apps, you control all data. Delete a record in the app to remove it. Uninstall the app to delete everything (subject to iCloud backups you control).
For apps with server components, we retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide service. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us (see ยง12).
8. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of data we hold about you
- Correction: correct inaccurate data
- Deletion: request deletion of your data
- Portability: receive your data in a portable format
- Objection: object to certain processing activities
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data
California residents (CCPA) have the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of any sale โ we do not sell personal information.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR) may lodge complaints with their local supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, email us at support@moonlabs.top. We respond within 30 days.
10. Third-Party Services
Our apps may integrate with Apple platform services, including:
- Apple StoreKit 2 โ manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy governs that data.
- iCloud โ if you enable iCloud backup or sync, your app data may be stored on Apple's servers per Apple's privacy policy.
- Apple Health (HealthKit) โ apps with workout features (e.g. ParKeeper on Apple Watch) may read and write Health data with your permission. Health data is governed by Apple's Health privacy protections and is never used for marketing or advertising.
- Location Services โ apps with distance or mapping features (e.g. ParKeeper) may use your location with your permission, processed on-device.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. Links to third-party sites from our apps are provided for convenience; review their policies separately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our app portfolio grows or laws change. We will post the revised policy here with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide prominent notice (e.g. an in-app alert or email if we have your address).
Continued use of our apps after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
